Car maintenance tips for new drivers
July 12th, 2008
New drivers are often inexperienced when it comes to looking after their cars but there are some basic areas to look at no
matter what kind of vehicle you drive. Most importantly, keep an eye on the two most important things: tyres and brakes. The only thing between your vehicle and the road is tyres, so make sure that your tyres have plenty of tread left, and are in good condition. Brakes should be checked by a mechanic every six months to ensure that they are stopping correctly. Finally, make sure you change your oil regularly. Fresh oil is key to keeping your vehicle running for a long time.
